Welcome to Bzzst, a tool designed to supercharge your content scheduling within ClickUp. This guide will walk you through how to get started and make the most of Bzzst's powerful integration.

1. What is Bzzst?

Bzzst helps ClickUp users manage and schedule social media content without leaving their workspace. Perfect for teams looking to centralize and streamline their digital strategy.

3. How It Works

Step 1: Connect ClickUp with Bzzst

  • Connect your ClickUp workspace to Bzzst (first-time setup only).

Step 2: Configure Your Brand and Social Media Accounts

  • Manage one brand.
  • Link your brand to the following social media accounts:
    • 1 Facebook Page
    • 1 Instagram Account
    • 1 YouTube Channel
    • 1 TikTok Account
    • 1 LinkedIn Page
    • 1 Threads Account

Step 3: Automatic Workspace Setup in ClickUp

  • Bzzst creates a "Bzzst" space if not already present.
  • For each brand:
    • A folder and task list are created.

    • Custom fields are added to help Bzzst interpret and schedule the content:

      • Schedule Date: The planned publishing date and time of the post.
      • Platform: The target social media platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
      • Type: The type of content (e.g., image, video, carousel).
      • Title: The title or main headline of the post.
      • Bzzst ID: A unique internal identifier used by Bzzst to track the post.
      • Media: The attached images, videos, or files to be included in the post.
      • Cover: The thumbnail or cover image (used for platforms like YouTube).
    • Custom task statuses to manage the content lifecycle:

      • Schedule: The user sets this status when the post is ready to be validated by Bzzst.
      • Scheduled: The post has been validated successfully and is queued for automatic publication.
      • Schedule Error: Something is wrong (e.g., missing fields or media); Bzzst will leave a comment with feedback.
      • Published: The content has been published successfully and no further action is needed.

Step 4: Schedule and Publish from ClickUp

  1. Create a task in the appropriate list.
  2. Fill in the custom fields.
  3. Change the task status to "Schedule".
  4. Bzzst validates the post:
    • ✅ If valid → status becomes "Scheduled".
    • ❌ If invalid → status becomes "Schedule Error" with feedback.
  5. Post is automatically published at the scheduled time → status becomes "Published".
